Toronto hockey fans, get ready—big changes are coming for the Toronto Sceptres as they prepare to hit the ice for the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) 2024-25 season! The team is leveling up its game and this year, the Sceptres will take the ice at a new home venue.
After a smashing debut season with sold-out games at Mattamy Athletic Centre, the Toronto Sceptres are moving to the Coca-Cola Coliseum for their second season. This iconic venue, known for hosting the Toronto Marlies and soon Toronto’s WNBA team, was already tested during the 2024 PWHL Playoffs, where the Sceptres played to packed crowds of over 8,500 fans.
“We’re thrilled to call Coca-Cola Coliseum our home,” said Gina Kingsbury, General Manager of the Toronto Sceptres. “The energy our fans brought during the playoffs was electric, and we can’t wait to see it continue as we build new memories this season.”
Alongside their new PWHL home games, the Sceptres will continue training at Ford Performance Centre, which boasts world-class amenities shared by NHL and AHL teams.

The home jersey is a striking mix of rich blue with sharp yellow accents, navy paneling, and a golden crest that reflects the city’s leadership and spirit.
“I was blown away when I saw the new design,” said defender Kali Flanagan. “The colors are bold, the fit is perfect, and I can’t wait to see fans rocking these jerseys at Coca-Cola Coliseum.”
Fans can snag replica jerseys early through the PWHL Shop or grab them at major retailers starting November 14.
The Sceptres’ new threads will debut under the bright lights of Coca-Cola Coliseum on November 30, 2024, in a matchup against the Boston Fleet. Tickets are selling fast, so if you want to witness this historic season opener, now’s the time to act.
